Should each family be controlled by having two children only?

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Thessa Pebriza Fitri. I would like to tell you something that happened in our beloved country. Indonesia is a country that has a fairly large area from other countries. With a large enough area, Indonesia also does not escape the various problem that occur everywhere. One of problem in Indonesia is the high increase of human population. It makes Indonesia ranked 4^th in the world as a country with the high population, with a population of around 260.580.739 people with a population density of around 137 people/km. And the first rank was occupied by China with a population of around 1.379.302.771 people and a population density of around 145 people/km. This happens because the number of birth and death is not balanced, the birth rate that occurs in Indonesia has a fairly high ratio rather than the level of death. This is one of the problems in Indonesia with a birth rate higher than the death rate. What I want to do this morning is to talk to you about why each family should be controlled by having two children only? Or why not? Well, I did some research here and there, and to be honest with you guys, the answer is yes each family should be controlled by having two children only.

The first reason why the answer is yes, because of the economy in our country which is still developing, not like the advanced country such as USA and the other European country.  Indonesian people have a belief that “Many children have a lot of sustenance" this is, of course, wrong when they have more than two children while their salaries are very low to fulfill their daily needs, then it will burden the parent to finance their children and will cause poverty to increase in Indonesia. According to Compas.com on October 2018, to prevent a population explosion that occurs due to the uncontrolled number of births in Indonesia, the government makes a program to reduce the number of births that occur in Indonesia.

The second reason is that unemployment. The high number of birth does not only have short-term problems but also have a long-term impact, one of the negative effects of the high birth rate over a long time will be the surge in unemployment in the area after several years, this of the course raises various kinds of social problems because there are many people who do not have jobs and cannot fulfill their needs of life caused by not having a job, therefore it is undeniable that there will be various crimes committed by young people who do not have jobs. If this continues, there will be various social problems such as unemployment, narrow employment opportunities, poverty, etc.

All in all, I guest each family should be controlled by having two children only because besides reducing living costs, joining the "two better children" program can help the government to reduce the population increase that is occurring in Indonesia and also reduce unemployment in the future.
